How a form is automatically completed?

The integration of the KYC Autofill API is a backend process that is executed the moment the customer provides their phone number.

The Frictionless Experience Flow

  • Registration starts: the customer begins the onboarding process and provides their phone number (MSISDN).

  • Identity Validation (optional but recommended): a quick verification is triggered (for example, by sending an OTP or using the KYC Match API) to confirm that the user is the legitimate line holder.

  • KYC Autofill API Call: your backend application invokes the Plusmo API, requesting the data associated with that phone number.

  • Operator Data Retrieval: The API connects to the mobile operator, which provides the registration data of the line holder (name, DNI/ID, address, etc.).

  • Autofill Form: your system uses the returned data to automatically complete the form fields.

  • Review and Confirmation: the user simply reviews the automatically pre-completed information and clicks "Confirm".

  • This mechanism not only speeds up the process but, by using data from a reliable source like the mobile operator, improves the quality and verification of your databases.
