What do I need to get Plusmo?
All you need is a browser on your mobile device. Just go to plusmo.com/m from your mobile phone browser and download the client.
Note: Some operators block access to J2ME applications based on the data plan of the subscriber. So, even though your browser might be working, you might see connectivity issues with the Plusmo client.

Is Plusmo really free?
Yes. Plusmo is free to use. But, your mobile operator may charge you for data downloaded if you do not have a data plan. We recommend that you get an unlimited data plan to avoid getting charged per download. See below for few examples.

Can I use Plusmo even though I don't have a data plan with my phone service?
Yes. You can use Plusmo even though you don't have a data plan, but we do not recommend it. Here are some example data plans: What mobile phones and PDAs does Plusmo support?
Plusmo supports all J2ME MIDP 2.0 and MIDP 1.0 enabled mobile phones, RIM/Blackberry devices, Windows Mobile Smart phones and Pocket PC enables PDAs. We are constantly adding support for new devices and operating systems.
Plusmo currently does not support BREW enabled devices. We are working on a client for Palm Treo handhelds.

What carriers does Plusmo support?
Plusmo currently supports Sprint and Cingular. We will be adding support for additinal carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon etc., very soon. Stay tuned!

How come the Plusmo is not supported on my device?
At Plusmo, we are continually working on expanding the device coverage on a daily basis. We encourage you to enroll in our beta program and help us expedite the support for many more mobile devices. For more details on the beta program, please visit our developers page.

Why do you need my email address?
Your email address is used to log in to www.plusmo.com to manage your mobile content subscriptions. On email-enabled devices we use the email to send you an install link. If instead you want an SMS be sent to you with an install link, we'll ask you for your phone number and operator during the registration. An either case, your email address is the primary mechanism to log in. We will only use your email address for support and inform you of new releases. Like you, we also hate spam.

I deleted the Plusmo client on my mobile device? How do I re-install it?
Go to plusmo.com/explore and select the link "Resend install email or SMS to my device". You are required to provide either your email address or the phone number for us to send you the download link.

How do I download Plusmo onto my phone?
When you subscribe to a blog or channel at plusmo.com, we will send an email or text message (SMS) to your mobile phone or PDA. This message will contain the link to download our software. Click on the URL to download and install Plusmo. You can also go to plusmo.com/m from your mobile phone browser and download the Plusmo client to your mobile device.

How do I start using Plusmo once it is installed on my device?
On Java Enabled (J2ME) devices, access your mobile phone's list of downloads and/or applications and select "Plusmo" to launch it. On RIM devices, you can launch Plusmo from the Applications folder.

Whenever I enter the password on a Blackberry device, it capitalizes the first character!
When entering the password on a Blackberry device, type the first letter twice, finish typing rest of the characters, go back to the first letter, delete it and then select 'Accept'.

When downloading the application, I get a warning that the file is "non-trusted." What does this mean?
You will see this message when downloading the Plusmo application on your J2ME device because the application is not signed by a trusted Certificate Authority (CA). The application has been signed by an internally issued non-commercial root certificate. Cell phones and PDAs do not automatically trust the root certificate of the internal Certificate Authority and hence warn you when downloading our software.
